I am the CEO of the Brunei Economic Development Board which is Brunei government’s central statutory body to grow and diversify Brunei's economy by attracting investment into the nation. I have been serving on board of directors of public and private companies in Brunei, China, and Singapore — including formerly being the chairman and board member of a publicly listed Asian company that went IPO for US$1.5 billion of market capitalization. In my personal capacity, I have been a visiting professor and adjunct faculty in universities in the region, including Singapore Management University, Nanyang Technological University, University of Brunei Darussalam, and Universiti Technologi Brunei.
