An award-winning creative professional with 14 years experience in Brunei's creative industry, Hamdi Matussin (commonly known as NJ) is the co-founder and Deputy Chief Creative Officer of MMW Creative (Mix Mediaworx Sdn Bhd), Brunei’s leading integrated creative agency founded in April 2009 with a strong focus on transforming brands through creative strategy and digital innovation. MMW was recently awarded Asia’s Most Promising SMEs at the prestigious ACES Awards 2018 (Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards) for the creative agency's exemplary track record in Brunei's growing creative industry, breaking through as a branding and advertising startup in 2009 with a staff of 8 people before scaling to a full-service creative and media agency with over 30 local team members. NJ's involvements include being a panelist at the recent National Youth Congress 2019, a mentor at the High Commission of Canada's recent Speed Mentoring & Networking event in conjunction with International Women's Day 2019, a judge at the first ever Brunei Hacks 2018 organized by GroMinda Group & Glints Singapore, a judge at Brunei's first ever Startup Weekend 2017 presented by EICO, as well as a guest speaker for numerous career talks, startup forums and talk shows. A collegiate from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia with an extensive advertising and design background, NJ is a passionate storyteller with a flair for simple, intellectual and thought-provoking ideas that solve today’s problems while adding value to people’s lives.
